Four Perfect Pebbles Chapter 9

Chapter 9 is the last chapter in this book and the end of an incredible journey. Years of vial treatment had finally ended in a true escape. The Blumenthals had reach America and were starting a new life. A relaxing sense of optimism can wash over readers as they regain hope for the future. I feel as if this provides a happy ending to an otherwise tragic story. There was a lot of struggle and loss, but ultimately the book ends on a good note. This is good for younger students, so they can feel a little better about what they have read.
Overall, Four Perfect Pebbles was an educational and accurate account of a historical event. Students can learn a lot from reading this book and have a better idea of the suffering that these people were subjected to. The book provided a vivid description of the events and matched it to the waves of emotions the individuals felt. Four Perfect Pebbles provides students with a great example of non fictional writing, bibliographies, memoirs, and other writing styles that they may not be used to. The book also integrates the subjects of Language Arts and History to create a more valuable learning experience.
